#119 Katibawasan Falls

Katibawasan Falls is located some four kilometres from Mambajao in Camiguin Island, Mindanao in southern Philippines.

The falls is a popular tourist destination in Camiguin with its clear waters and the waterfall that measures about 250 feet high. The water cascades 70 meters into a rock pool surrounded by ground orchids, wild ferns, trees and boulders.

Visitors enjoy the cold waters provide, particularly during the hot summer months when picnikers and bathers splash in the pool to cool off. Giant ferns and lush vegetation grow in the surrounding landscape where huge, old trees can be found. Adventurous visitors can rappel down the waterfall and plunge into the pool below. The park has rock picnic tables, seats and cookout facilities available for use.

Mabuhay ang Katibawasan Falls!
